Nittany Country Club – Mingoville, PA
A Historic Nine-Hole Course in the Heart of Centre County
Nittany Country Club is a nine-hole course tucked against the mountain base in Mingoville, PA, surrounded by the natural beauty of Centre County. With roots dating back to 1895, it is one of the oldest golf clubs in Pennsylvania, originally founded as the Nittany Rod & Gun Club before transitioning to golf in the early 1900s.
The course plays 6,014 yards at par 72 over its nine holes, with rye grass fairways and bent grass greens that reward accurate iron play. Postage-stamp greens provide a genuine challenge for scoring, and the elevation changes — particularly on holes three and four — offer sweeping views of the surrounding valley. It’s a serene, unhurried setting far removed from traffic and noise, with a well-stocked pro shop and dining facilities on site.
