Golf Tournaments at the Philipsburg Elks Lodge & Country Club
We host a variety of golf tournaments throughout the year mixing in serious competition, fun competition, & charity tournaments for good causes.

April
The Masters – April 11 & 12
Individual tournament with net & gross divisions. Pick a tour player to add your score to.
Paul Bradley Memorial – April 25
4 man scramble tournament
May
Jack Frank Memorial – May 9
4 man scramble golf tournament benefiting the P-O High School Baseball team
The Q Tournament – May 17
1 day tournament, better ball of partners. Scores can be used to qualify for the Lupton
W. Carl Lupton Memorial – May 23, 24, 25
Better ball of partners, must qualify, points format, play everyone in your flight
June
The Elks Invitational – June 13
Better ball of partners, open event for anyone to participate, both net & gross divisions.
Martin Memorial – June 23
4 man scramble
Memorial – June 27 & 28
Better ball partners, pick your partners. Stroke play format, 2 day total
July
Osceola Open – July 3rd
4 man shamble format
Flag Tournament – July 5
Course par (70) + your handicap = your number. Plant your flag on your number. The flag that goes the furthest wins

Members only tournament with 4 divisions. Ages 50-59, 60-69, 70+, & Ladies
Walter Swoope Memorial – July 25 & 26
Individual stroke play tournament flighted by handicap
Fish Open – July 29
Private invite-only Pro-Am tournament
August
Houtzdale Fire Co. – August 1
4 man scramble tournament benefiting the Houtzdale Fire Company
Elks Junior Golf Shoot – August 4
Free golf shoot for kids to have fun and compete
Member Guest – August 7, 8, 9
Each golf member brings a guest. August 7th is the practice round. August 8 & 9 are rounds 1 & 2.
P-O Mountie Wrestling – August 15
4 man scramble benefiting the P-O Wrestling team
Husband & Wife Championship – August 23
Alternate shot golf tournament with handicap
September
Top 16 Shootout – September 3
Top 16 golfers who qualified for the Club Championship compete in a par 3 contest
Club Championship – September 5, 6, 7
Individual match play tournament, flighted by handicap
Parent Child Tournament – September 13
Parent child, alternate shot golf tournament. Scored with the Callaway System
October
Fall Classic – TBD
2 man better ball of partners tournament. Open to everyone.
Champions Championship – October 4
Individual tournament. Must have won another tournament in order to participate.
Louisiana Draw – October 11
Blind draw 4 person teams. Scoring 2 best ball’s

Apart from these golf tournaments, there are also private events hosted on out golf course. Most of these dates are already scheduled along with golf league dates, and Central Counties events.
