2025 Winter Golf Simulator League
12 Weeks of Fun & Friendly Competition
Experience the thrill of golf all winter long with the Philipsburg Elks Lodge & Country Club Winter Simulator League! Enjoy weekly competition, prizes, and the chance to play on some of the most exciting courses, all from the comfort of our state-of-the-art golf simulator.
Golf Simulator League Overview
The league runs for 12 weeks, starting December 15, 2024. Participants will play individual 9-hole rounds using a handicap system.
For the first two weeks, we’ll use End-of-Year GHIN handicaps, which will then be adjusted weekly based on an average score formula.
White tees are used for men and red tees for ladies.
There are no mulligans, and putting is set to a 10-ft gimme.
The entry fee is $75 per person, with simulator fees at a special league price of $20/hour.

Schedule for the Golf Simulator League
You’ll play one round each week before the weekly deadline. If needed, you can play ahead by scheduling your time in advance. The weekly schedule is as follows:
Prizes for the Golf Simulator League
Players earn weekly points based on their net scores.
First place earns 5 points, second place earns 4 points, third place earns 3 points, fourth place earns 2 points, and all other golfers earn 1 point.
Cash prizes are awarded to the top three finishers each week, with amounts determined by the number of participants.
At the end of the 12 weeks, the top five finishers based on total points will win season prizes.

Schedule your tee time by calling the bar at (814) 342-4760. Once you’ve completed your round, submit your scorecard via text or email to Jon Liptak at (814) 762-7261 or a2j.liptak@gmail.com.
Rules for the Golf Simulator League
The courses being played will be announced one week prior to play. Weekly course settings will be preset to ensure fairness.
Instructions for simulator use will be provided before the league starts and posted near the simulator.
