Soccer Shoot at the Philipsburg Elks Lodge & Country Club

The Elks Soccer Shoot Program is a fun, free, and competitive event for children under age 14 that promotes skill development, character, and community. Sponsored by the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, this national program is designed to help youth grow through healthy competition and personal achievement.

What is the Elks Soccer Shoot?

The Elks Soccer Shoot is a goal-shooting contest that tests a child’s ability to score with accuracy and control. Kids are grouped into age brackets and compete by taking shots from marked distances in a structured, supportive setting.

It’s more than just a game—it’s a chance for kids to gain confidence, meet new friends, and have fun in a positive, family-friendly environment.

Age Groups & Divisions

Participants compete in two main categories:

Five Goal Contest (Ages under 8)

Participants shoot at a series of five goals ranging from 48” to 17” wide.
Each child gets three shots at each goal for a total of 15 shots.
The smaller the goal, the more points it’s worth!

Grid Goal Contest (Ages 8–13)

Players shoot at a full-size goal divided into scoring zones.
Each contestant takes 15 shots, rotating between scoring areas.
Points are awarded based on accuracy and placement.

Divisions are separated by age and gender:

U-8 (under 8)
U-10
U-12
U-14
