Elks Drug Awareness Program
The Elks Drug Awareness Program is the largest volunteer-led drug education and prevention effort in the United States. For over 40 years, Elks Lodges across the country have worked to protect youth by educating them about the dangers of drug use and empowering them to make safe, healthy choices.
At the Philipsburg Elks Lodge #1173, we are proud to take an active role in promoting drug awareness right here in our community.
What We Do
Through educational materials, youth contests, school outreach, and community events, the Elks Drug Awareness Program spreads important messages to kids and families. We focus on building awareness, preventing abuse, and giving kids the tools to say no to drugs, alcohol, and vaping.
Local Partnership at Heritage Days
Each year, the Philipsburg Elks partners with the Clearfield-Jefferson Drug & Alcohol Commission during Philipsburg Heritage Days to promote drug awareness among local youth. Together, we host an interactive booth with games, giveaways, and educational materials designed to engage kids and start important conversations in a fun, age-appropriate way.
This partnership is just one example of how we bring national Elks programs to life at the local level—right here in our community.
