The Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks has a simple promise:

At the Philipsburg Elks Lodge #1173, we proudly serve and support our nation’s heroes through a variety of veteran-focused programs. Whether it’s providing essentials for those in need or simply showing appreciation for their service, we believe our veterans deserve respect, dignity, and ongoing support.
Programs We Support
Welcome Home Kits
Helping homeless veterans transition into permanent housing by providing basic household essentials like bedding, cookware, and hygiene items.
Veteran Emergency Assistance
Assisting veterans in crisis with emergency needs such as food, clothing, or shelter through local outreach and national funding.
VA Volunteer Services
Partnering with VA hospitals and facilities to provide companionship, entertainment, and needed supplies to veterans in care.
Community Outreach & Appreciation
Hosting events and ceremonies to honor local veterans, share their stories, and connect them with services in the community.
